Castlebrae Community High School is a non-denominational six-year comprehensive secondary school which serves the Craigmillar, Niddrie and Newcraighall communities. The roll in September 2009 was 282.

Most of our students are drawn from Castleview and Niddrie Mill Primary Schools. A number of students (28% of the S1 intake in 2009) come from other primary schools.

Firrhill High School is a six year comprehensive school situated in the south west of Edinburgh.
